I know people are always talking about Randy’s glasses. Turns out he just launched his own eyewear line, Randy Jackson Eyewear, and that’s what he’s been wearing on Season 7. A company called Zyloware makes them. Their website is randyjacksoneyewear.com if you want to check them out.

Randy Jackson incorrectly identified a song on last week’s show. The song “Where the Boys Are” was originally done by Connie Francis, a hit for the movie of the same name. Randy said it was a song done by Patsy Cline, and thus was unfairly critical of the female contestant. The contestant was voted off the show the next night, I believe partially based on his critique. I was shocked that he did not know who the originally singer was, and also that Paula didn’t know it or at least didn’t correct his mistake.
