It’s Official: Evening Talk Shows Are Back
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, and The Late Show with David Letterman are all going to be returning January 2, 2008. It was just a rumor this afternoon but now it’s official, they’re back. The only snag is that the many writers that support the strike might refuse to come back. So It will be up to the late night funny men to come up with most of their jokes.
I don’t care if it flops, I mean It will just be great to see them back on air. The staff who were fired last week must be hitting the roofs right about now, congratulation.

Whoa–slow down. “The Late Show with David Letterman” is not a done deal yet. Negotiations are still underway, as the AP article notes.
